Railroad crossings in the Village of Bellevue were closed for hours early Sunday, after a train hit and killed a pedestrian.
It happened near the Main Street crossing. Eaton County suthoriites say the victim was dragged several blocks. The individual has not been named, so family members can be notified.
Drivers in the area should seek alternate routes. Sand Road is open.
