Royal Wedding Schedule

3:15am - 4:45amEDT. The general congregation will arrive at the Great North Door of Westminster Abbey.

Note: All arrivals at Westminster Abbey are at the Great West Door unless otherwise indicated.

4:50amEDT. Distinguished guests arrive, including Governors-General and Prime Ministers of Realm Countries and the Diplomatic Corps.

5:10amEDT. Prince William and his Best Man, Prince Harry, leave Clarence House for Westminster Abbey. They are expected to arrive at the Abbey at 5:15amEDT. Reminder that travel TO the Abbey will be in cars.

5:20amEDT. Members of foreign Royal Families arrive at Westminster Abbey from Buckingham Palace.

5:20amEDT. Kate's mom, Carole Middleton, and her brother, James Middleton, leave the Goring Hotel for Westminster Abbey. They are expected to arrive at 10:27amBST/5:27amEDT.

5:25amEDT. Members of the Royal Family (those not noted below) leave Buckingham Palace for Westminster Abbey. They are expected to arrive at 5:30amEDT.

5:35amEDT: The Duke of York, Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, The Earl of Wessex, The Countess of Wessex, The Princess Royal, and Vice Admiral Timothy Laurence leave Buckingham Palace for Westminster Abbey. They are expected to arrive at 5:40amEDT.

5:38amEDT. The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall leave Clarence House for Westminster Abbey. They are expected to arrive at the Abbey at 5:42amEDT.

5:40amEDT. The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh leave Buckingham Palace for the Abbey. They are expected to arrive at 5:45amEDT.

5:48amEDT. The Bridesmaids and Pages leave the Goring Hotel for Westminster Abbey. They are expected to arrive at 5:55amEDT.

5:51amEDT. Kate Middleton and her father, Michael Middleton, leave the Goring Hotel for Westminster Abbey. Kate will spend the night before the wedding at this hotel with her immediate family by personal choice.

6amEDT. Kate arrives at the West door of the Abbey and walks down the aisle. The service at Westminster Abbey (capacity: 2,200) begins. The Dean of Westminster, the Very Rev Dr John Hall, will conduct the service but the Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Rowan Williams, will marry the couple. The Bishop of London, the Rt Rev Richard Chartres, will then give an address. The Marriage Service will be relayed by audio speakers along the Route.

7:05amEDT. Service ends.

7:15amEDT. The Carriage Procession of the Bride and Bridegroom with a Captain's Escort of the Household Cavalry, followed by The Queen's Procession with a Sovereign's Escort of the Household Cavalry, leaves the Abbey for Buckingham Palace. The married couple will travel in an open-topped carriage, crossing Parliament Square before going along Whitehall, Horse Guards Parade and The Mall. They will be followed by other senior royals, the Middleton family and then the guests for the reception, plus military procession.

7:30amEDT. The Bride's Procession arrives at Buckingham Palace.

7:40amEDT. Members of the Royal Family and members of foreign Royal Families arrive at the Palace.

7:40amEDT. Other guests for the Reception arrive at Buckingham Palace.

8:25amEDT. The Queen, Bride, and Bridegroom gather on the Balcony with their families. Traditionally, the newlyweds will then share a kiss on the balcony for the crowd.

8:30amEDT. Fly Past by the Royal Air Force and Battle of Britain Memorial Flight. They will fly over Buckingham palace and along the Mall.

Approx. 8:40amEDT. The Queen will give a reception at Buckingham Palace for the newlyweds and 650 guests from the congregation.

10:30amEDT. William and Kate depart the Palace for a "period of reflection" at Clarence House. Still TBA how they will travel

2:00pmEDT. William and Kate return to Buckingham Palace for the evening reception hosted by The Prince of Wales for 300 family and friends.
