Suspected Credit Card Thief Turns Herself In

The woman caught on a meijer surveillance camera--- who police say was using a stolen credit card--- has turned herself in.

Jennifer Reichard of Lenawee County has been charged in connection with several thefts from vehicles in Jackson county in September.

Columbia Township police say she broke into cars in Brooklyn and Clark lake--- and stole credit cards and other personal items.

Police continue to investigate these larcenies. They tell us there were similar crimes in the township during the same time and are reviewing more surveillance videos that could produce additional charges and suspects.

    She stole over $1000 out of our checking accounts with in minutes of smashing our vehicle window ($250) I hope that prosecutors don't give her any breaks for turning herself in. If allowed I will be at her and her accomplice's sentencing.

    I hope what she got with the stollen credit cards is worth the time she will do in jail. Personally, nothing is worth going to jail over.
