A Michigan State University student has raised more than $3,000 to help pay for damage done to a stranger's car by rowdy Spartan fans after the school's football team stunned Ohio State in the Big Ten Championship game.
Senior Karen Wood started a fundraising page after a Facebook feed showed the car flipped on its roof in East Lansing.
More than 300 people helped Wood exceed her goal. The money will be used to help replace the car which was totaled.
Police say a dozen Michigan State students were among at least 15 people arrested following Saturday night's game.
At least 57 fires were set. Police are offering up to $20,000 for tips that lead to convictions.
