String of Business Break-ins, Jackson Police Ask for Help

Thieves have hit four Jackson stores in the past week. Each time they took large quantities of cigarettes. Each time the break-in occurred during the early morning hours.

Jackson police say the targeted businesses appear to be within a two mile radius of I-94. Two of the break-ins occurred in the City of Jackson, one in Blackman Township and one in Jackson County.

In addition to the Jackson area break-ins, Jackson police say there have been at least three similar incidents in surrounding counties.

The suspects are both men, 5' 8" to 6' tall, wearing dark clothing and gloves.
