Panama City Beach Police say the 18-year Jacob Ebert of St. Johns, fell three stories, off the rear balcony of his room at the Beachbreak By The Sea condominiums around 8:40 p.m Friday night.

When officers arrived, they say Ebert was alert and talking. Paramedics took him to Bay Medical Center where he's being treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Police say no one witnessed the fall and they believe alcohol may have played a role.

Ebert is a senior at St. Johns High School where he played running back and helped lead the football team to a district championship this season. The Redwings came close to winning a state championship.

Just a few weeks ago a young LCC college student died from alcohol poisoning, now this guy falls three stories. I am pretty sure alcohol was involved here too. This underage drinking is killing or harming a lot of young adults.
