MASON - A student at Mason High School will be in hot water following a fire at the school Wednesday afternoon. Police say that they have identified and interviewed a 17-year-old, male student, who they believe is responsible for setting the small fire that caused the Mason High School to be evacuated. Fire officials say that posters in a hallway were set on fire at about 12:15PM. Custodial staff was able to put the fire out quickly. Fire officials say there was some damage to the hallway and ceiling tiles. Students evacuated without incident and were outdoors less than half an hour. Police say they will consult with the prosecutors office about bringing criminal charges against the teenager.
