Shot Fired During Lansing Bank Robbery

LANSING - Gunfire inside a bank in south Lansing.

Just before 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon a man entered the PNC Bank in the 6300 block of South Cedar Street. He pointed a handgun at the teller and demanded money. The teller gave him money. Before leaving the bank, the thief fired a single round from the pistol. No one was hit. The man left on foot, and it is unknown if he got into a car.

PNC Bank is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect in this matter.
The suspect is described as an African American male in his 30's, medium build. He is bald. He was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt with blue and red sweatpants.
