Shooting Disrupts House Party

One person was shot early Saturday monring during what is being described as a loud party at a Bath apartment complex.

Police tell wilx.com, officers were called to the Crossing Place Apartments on Coleman Road. When they arrived, a group of people rushed up to them and told them a person inside had been shot.

The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police are still looking for the person who fired the shot.

    Think it is time for the apartment complex to hire security guards. This is the 2nd or 3rd shooting that is related to a party at this complex.

    The gun was probably carried by a felon who did not go through any training or have any permits. And we have people out there who want to stop others from carrying firearms and receive proper training and permits. The logic of banning guns does not compute.

    I lived in bath for 10 years. They just started started building this Gov housing when we left. It look at the problems they are having. Is the TAX revenue worth it VS all newly created problems you have to hire extra police to handle the issues. What have you gained!
