A convicted sex offender who authorities say posed as a massage therapist on the set of the football movie "Touchback" in southwestern Michigan has pleaded guilty to a charge in the case.
Thirty-nine-year-old Timothy Ketchapaw of Grand Rapids told an Ottawa County Circuit Court judge Thursday that he broke state law prohibiting registered sex offenders from being within 1,000 feet of schools.
Ketchapaw also pleaded no contest to an assault and battery charge. The movie was filming Aug. 18 at Coopersville High School.
He faces up to four years in prison when sentenced Dec. 27.
Police say Ketchapaw gave free rubdowns to women on the set, and he was kicked off after several became suspicious. Records show Ketchapaw pleaded guilty to accosting children for immoral purposes in 1997.
