EATON COUNTY - Authorities in Eaton County have found a body inside a shed southwest of Charlotte that they have had surrounded for several hours today.

The body was discovered when a robotic camera was sent into a shed near a house in the 4900 Block of Bracey Highway in Carmel Township.

It all started shortly after eight this morning when a woman called the Eaton County Sheriff's Department to report her 23-year-old ex-boyfriend had broken into her house armed with a rifle. She said the suspect left the house to set fire to a car in the driveway.

She reported hearing two gunshots outside but said she couldn't see where he went.

The caller and her four children were evacuated from the house.
Deputies and special law enforcement teams were called in and people in surrounding homes were ordered to leave.

This is my brother and are family is saddened by the death of him.. We are also saddened by the lies that have been said.. My brother never broke into her house he didnt have a rifle.. he was heartbroken and terrorized by his ex-girlfriend and begged for her to help him.. My brother was a great man who loved his ex-girlfriend and her kids deeply and would never harm those kids in anyway.. He will be greatly missed by many.. i wish the truth would be printed but i guess its what to be expected

He was one of my husbands best friends and had become a friend to me. We miss him dearly, and do not understand why this happened. Please be mindful of what you say because people who did know him and are his friends are reading what you write. Sometimes what you write might not be painful to you but will be to others!

I have spoken with the family. He did take his own life. The news never gets the story 100 percent. The "suspected gunman's" sister is one of my best friends and this is all bull. It is a horrible thing for anyone to go through and lies are just making things worse for the family.
