GREEN OAK TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) -- Officials say they're continuing to search for a fisherman who is missing after possibly falling from a boat in a southeast Michigan lake.
The Livingston County Daily Press & Argus of Howell reports crews on Tuesday are entering a third day of searching at Whitmore Lake, about 35 miles west of Detroit. The Green Oak Township Fire Department says searchers were at the lake Tuesday morning.
The boat was seen circling on the lake Sunday with no one aboard and a person was possibly seen in the water at the same time.
Authorities from Livingston County's Green Oak Township say a 46-year-old man went fishing and had been reported missing by family when he didn't return home.
