"Just show up and take part in the 5 K or the mile run or the walk or just be among friends.  We are starting at the Meridian Pavilion which is by that parking lot."

Mary Prygoski

This Sunday at 6pm, runners from across mid-Michigan and other supporters will gather at the Meridian Township Pavilion for various run/walk events to help Okemos resident Phil Prygoski who suffered a debilitating stroke 15 months ago.

Visiting with the Prygoskis, we learned that limited insurance prohibits his rehab progress. Therefore, funds will be used for in home equipment to hasten the 65-year old Cooley Law School professor’s recovery.

Anyone interested can show up that night and make a donation.

The Prygoskis’ have two grown children who are helping in their dad's recovery and wife Mary is thankful for the overwhelming support for this upcoming community gathering. She adds there will be something for everyone to enjoy who show up Sunday night.
