GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (AP) -- Bagger Dave's restaurant is sponsoring a student advertising competition in Grand Rapids.
The event is called the Yardsticks, and it's being held on Wednesday.
College students are to gather in the ballroom at City Flats Hotel to present their ideas to a panel of 10 advertising and marketing professionals.
The program begins with one-on-one critique sessions between students and the judges. That's followed by a private dinner for the judges in which they discuss and select 10 finalists.
Judges later are to announce the top four students and present awards.
Bagger Dave's could implement one of the four entries into a real-world advertising campaign for its restaurants. It has locations across Lower Michigan.
