Jackson residents are asked to meet up at a local park tomorrow beginning at 11 a.m. to take a stand together against hate and violence.
A peace rally will be held at Bucky Harris Park in honor of 19 year-old Cherie Irving and 21 year-old Benjamin Willard.
Irving's body was found in a creek in Sandstone Township a couple of weeks ago. An autopsy showed she dies of a drug overdose.
Willard was shot to death in an alley between Francis and Chittock Streets in Jackson.
Rally organizers started their campaign on Facebook and say the goal is to show support for victims of violence and hate.
