DETROIT (AP) -- Quicken Loans will hold a career fair in downtown Detroit as the online mortgage lender and its family of companies look to add more than 500 employees.
Hires are being sought in technology, servicing, operations, mortgage banking and other areas.
Applicants will meet with recruiters and receive information on available opportunities that best fit their experience and career goals. Veterans and U.S. Military families are invited to enter the career fair at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Chase Building on Woodward Avenue in downtown.
The career fair is open to the general public from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Rock Ventures -- the umbrella entity for Quicken Loans and founder Dan Gilbert's other companies -- has brought more than 7,000 people to work in downtown Detroit since 2010.
