Prosecutor Rules Bank Shooting Was Justified

An Ingham County prosecutor says the shooting of a teenager by a Lansing Police officer at a bank on the south end of town---- was justified.
A statement says Lansing Police officer Brian Rendon was acting in self defense after he was attacked.
Rendon shot and killed 17-year-old Derrinesha Clay in March when he was responding to a break-in at the Bank of America on MLK and Southland.
