President Obama has signed off on Michigan's plan to expand Medicaid to almost 330-thousand more low-income residents. Snyder announced Michigan received a waiver on certain provisions of the Federal Health Care Law yesterday. The state asked for that waiver back in November. Having the President's approval means Michigan can extend Medicaid eligibility to folks making up 133% of the federal poverty level.
