Poll Shows More Than Half of Voters Support Marijuana Legalization

Only 26% of Michigan voters think state marijuana laws should be left alone.

A News 10 Voice of the Voter poll shows strong support for the legalization of marijuana in Michigan:

47% think it should be taxed and regulated like alcohol
26% think marijuana laws should stay the same
16% want criminal penalties replaced by fines
4% think all criminal penalties for marijuana should be repealed
7% were undecided or had no opinion

The poll was conducted September 7-10 by EPIC-MRA and has a margin of error of +/-4%.
