WALKER, Mich. (AP) -- Police in western Michigan are looking for a driver after a 61-year-old man was struck by two vehicles and dragged for about three miles.
The Grand Rapids Press reports Larry Calvin Burton of Walker was trying to cross a road Friday night when he was hit by a southbound vehicle driven by a 17-year-old Grand Rapids girl.
Police say Burton was then hit by a northbound vehicle. That vehicle dragged him until his body was dislodged, but didn't stop.
Police in the Grand Rapids-area community of Walker say they're looking for a dark in color SUV with 10-15 racing-related bumper stickers on the back window and bumper. Police also are looking for a potential witness in a dark in color pickup truck.
Tips may be made to Walker police.
