UPDATE FROM THE EATON COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE:
Eaton County Sheriff Dept is pleased to announce that the silver 1997 Buick Park Ave, driven by an 82 y/o man with Alzheimers, Ernest Ormsbee of Hall Rd, has been located.
The Sheriff's Office tells News 10 he was located safe and sound on I-69 near Steubenville, Indiana. He was standing by his car on the side of the road, after running out of gas.
An officer noticed him and ran his license plate. Arrangements are now being made to get him back home.
A man with Alzheimer's hasn't been seen since this morning, and police need your help in locating him.
The Eaton County Sheriff's Office says 82-year-old Ernest Ormsbee, who lives on Hall Road in Bellevue, was last seen around 9am Thursday morning. The Sheriff's Office says he left toward Olivet, with a young male hitchhiker who said he needed to go just a few miles.
Ormsbee is driving a silver 1997 Buick Park Avenue with a Michigan license plate of 0GEY03.
