It took three different police departments to stop a giant party in DeWitt this past weekend.

Police were called to a house on the 1400 block of DeWitt Road after they received reports of a teenager with alcohol poisoning. They found 200 to 300 people when they got there.

When police checked on the 15-year-old, people started throwing beer bottles at them. One officer got hit in the head. The 49-year-old DeWitt man renting the house got an "open house party" ticket. No one was arrested. The teen was taken to the hospital for treatment.
