Overgrown Lawns a Problem in Several Lansing Neighborhoods

With so many foreclosed and abandoned homes in the Lansing area, many lawns and yards are also subsequently going unattended.

Lansing's office of Code Compliance says this is one of their busiest times of the year for dealing with code violation complaints.

We've received reports of some lawns around town having grass that's at least waist-high and hasn't been mowed in weeks.

Tonight on News 10 at 6 we'll tell you what you can do to report overgrown grass and other code violations in your neighborhood.
