LANSING - The Niowave company is making a major new investment in mid-Michigan. On Thursday, Niowave will announce that the company plans to invest $202 million and add up to 120 new jobs at a new medical isotope production facility. The facility will be built on the grounds of the Capital Region International Airport in what is called the "Next Michigan Development Zone."
A press conference detailing the plans is scheduled for Thursday.
Niowave is a Lansing-based company founded in 2005. They make an test superconducting linear particle accelerators used in medical and other high-tech industries.
