People suffering from chronic health conditions are urged to enroll in a new state insurance program.
The state's top health advocates will meet Monday to discuss the Health Insurance Program, or H.I.P.
The plan offers affordable coverage to uninsured patients with preexisting conditions including cancer, diabetes, and heart disease.
The program is funded by the federal government.
Patients who qualify will have affordable coverage until 2014, when the federal health care reform law goes into effect.
We'll have much more on this story, including where you can apply, Monday night on News 10.
