The new rope lights debuted tonight at Cascade Falls in Jackson.
This is a $20,000 project that was largely funded by the Jackson County Parks Association.
This uses 90 LED rope lights that offer brighter color, and use significantly less power than the the 1,230 incandescent bulbs the park previously used.
A computer system and new light controllers have also been installed, and should allow for a wider variety of shows and music.
The previous system had been installed in the '90s, and still used casette tapes.
