New Airline to Operate at Lansing's Airport

LANSING - Mid-Michiganders looking for a direct flight to Florida will have another option soon. Allegiant Airline announced it's coming back to Lansing at the airport Tuesday. They will operate non-stop flights to Orlando twice a week beginning November 1st. Allegiant officials say that fares will will as low as $84.99 one way ($190 round trip), and that price includes taxes and fees.

Sun Country airline also offers flights to Orlando during the winter season. Allegiant says their service will be year-round.
Allegiant had operated out of Lansing's airport since 2003 before leaving in 2009.
