Lansing Police evacuated a neighborhood tonight after a landlord found what they're calling a "suspicious liquid" in a home she owns.
It happened on beulah street, not far from where Pennsylvania Avenue crosses over the Red Cedar River.
Police tell us the old tenants had recently moved out and the landlord was working on the house before the new renters moved in when she found the liquid.
Narcotics officers were called to the scene.
They found meth-making materials, but say it was not a meth lab.
The evacuation order has been lifted. We'll let you know if the investigating turns up anything.
