ADRIAN, Mich. (AP) -- The father of three Michigan boys missing since Thanksgiving is to appear in court before a judge who plans to ask him what happened to his children.
John Skelton is charged with parental kidnapping in the disappearance of his three sons. They were last seen were at his home in Morenci along the Michigan-Ohio state line.
Skelton is due in court Friday for a hearing that's part of his divorce case.
He said during a custody hearing in December that he gave his sons to someone from an "organization" that he wouldn't identify.
Authorities and volunteers spent days searching for the boys in Ohio and Michigan without any luck. A police chief leading the effort later said he didn't expect a positive outcome.
