Hunters could soon take aim at a moose.

A bill that would allow the first open hunting season for moose here in Michigan is headed to Governor Granholm's desk.

A moose hunting license would cost about $100 dollars.

A hunting advisory council would be set up to determine how many moose could be killed during a hunt and how long the season would last. is happy to provide a forum for commenting and discussion. Please respect and abide by the house rules:
