UPDATE - 15-year-old Marissa Bolles was found in the presence of three females and three males in a trailer home in Lansing Township. Authorities say she was there voluntarily and the case was not an abduction.

On Thursday, the Ingham County Sheriff's Office was notified of a demand for ransom. They are investigating if Bolles took part in that demand. The Ingham County Prosecutor's Office will determine if charges will be filed.

Ingham County Sheriff Gene Wriggelsworth says Marissa Bolles has been found.

Deputies say the Delhi Twp. teen is safe and was located with the help of local law enforcement and the FBI.

She was last seen Sunday.

Sheriff Wriggelsworth will hold a press conference at 10:45pm with details. News 10 will be there and have a live report coming up on News 10 at 11.

It shouldn't have taken that long to find her. Next time start by looking behind large buildings, water towers, skyscrapers, etc. "Hide and seek" must have been difficult growing up as a child.

While teens are young and make mistakes, it's pretty heartless to make your parents think that you've been abducted. If that happened to my 17-yr-old daughter, I'd call in the cops and FBI, too. I can't imagine the horror parents must feel when a child goes missing. If she's involved in the extortion idea, how cruel to think THIS was a good way to get "easy money!"

Its individuals like this young female who makes it difficult for the public to go on "Full Alert" when this type of case happens. As a citizen of Mid-Michigan and a parent, when a Amber Alert is issued I and those around me take full caution. This function of the law is indeed not one to be tampered with. I am 100% relieved that this young female was found safe and was located in the trailer on her own accord. But this reminds me of the boy who cried wolf. What if this young lady is abducted in the future??? Are her parents or the local law agency going to utilize all of their efforts to insure she returns safe? I would hope so but probably not, because they think she left again.... As for charges, I think we leave that up to the law agency to decide.

They would have acted the same way. She was missing for several days.

Although I am glad that this young lady is safe, I am curious as to why WILX does not allow readers to comment on all stories posted on this site. Usually it's controversial stories that we cannot comment on, which makes me seriously wonder if there is actually someone there at WILX playing God and deciding whether or not we can be allowed to comment, based on their own personal opinions on the subject? For example, the "Groceries for Guns" headline has no comment section...

I have wondered the same thing. Many times I have posted comments and they are not put through. None of them are nearly as disrespectful as some that I have seen, but I have a feeling I'm being censored for some reason.

And this is Exactly the reason my kids do not get to have a computer in their room! This is also the reason i "Monitor" their friends on Facebook and look at their text messages.
