MOUNT CLEMENS -- Dental records have confirmed that a badly decomposed body found in a marshy area of Lake St. Clair belongs to a missing bank executive.
The Detroit News, Detroit Free Press and The Macomb Daily of Mount Clemens report the Macomb County medical examiner said Monday the cause and manner of death of 62-year-old David Widlak of Grosse Pointe Farms is undetermined.
An autopsy showed no signs of blunt force trauma. Toxicology results are pending.
Widlak was last was seen at the Mount Clemens-based Community Central Bank Corp. administrative offices Sept. 15. His car was in the parking lot when a maintenance worker found the offices in disarray the following morning.
Widlak's family plans an independent autopsy.
Police say an investigation continues.
