MUSKEGON, Mich. (AP) -- The body of a 15-year-old Detroit area girl has been found in Lake Michigan off Muskegon.
WOOD-TV and MLive.com report that divers with a search and rescue team located the body Sunday after hours of searching.
Raybeon Jenkins last was seen about 7:30 p.m. Friday struggling about 100 yards from Pere Marquette Beach. She had been swimming with her 14-year-old sister and two other people.
Jenkins, of Ypsilanti, was spending the summer with relatives in West Michigan.
Authorities searched the area Saturday and Sunday with boats and sonar. Helicopters also were used to search the lake surface, northwest of Grand Rapids.
