Mid-Michigan Unemployment Rate Improves

Unemployment dipped down in mid-Michigan during the month of September.
Jobless rates in the Lansing-East Lansing region and the Jackson area improved by about a point.
Clinton Country remains one of the counties with the best unemployment rate at 5.1%, ranking 3rd in the state. Eaton County ranks 5th at 5.3%.

Sept. 2012 - 6.2%
August 2012 - 7.2%
Sept. 2011 - 7.7%

JACKSON AREA
Sept. 2012 - 7.4%
August 2012 - 8.3%
Sept. 2011 - 9.4%

    That is not that good. It will be good when it drops below 3% then it will be good. Until then good luck finding something.
