Michigan Department of Civil Rights Investigating Complaint of Arrested 11-Year-Old

New information in the case of an eleven-year-old from Jackson who was escorted out of his elementary school in handcuffs.
A civil rights complaint filed by Montez White's family and the NAACP is under investigation, and it's against against the Jackson Police Department.
The family and the NAACP believe the arrest was wrongfully handled by the department.
Back in October, officers arrested White during a MEAP test, after he failed to appear in court for a rock-throwing incident in 2008.
City managers wrote a letter of apology back in December.
