New information in the case of an eleven-year-old from Jackson who was escorted out of his elementary school in handcuffs.
A civil rights complaint filed by Montez White's family and the NAACP is under investigation, and it's against against the Jackson Police Department.
The family and the NAACP believe the arrest was wrongfully handled by the department.
Back in October, officers arrested White during a MEAP test, after he failed to appear in court for a rock-throwing incident in 2008.
City managers wrote a letter of apology back in December.

Why is it no matter what happens it becomes a race crime? You cann't to a job you were hired to do, and they want to fire you, it's a race crime. You get caught stealing its a race crime. You do something ilegal that endangers others it's a race crime. Always against you. All of a sudden a lot of people of color decided nothing is their fault and it's all a race crime.

stories like this and the actions of the parents gives African Americans a bad rap. Before people feared dealing with African Americans because of ignorance and stupidity. Now, it is becoming a fear being sued. It shifts the opinion of anyone that you should not fear them because of ignorance to you need to fear them because they will scream racism because they know it will get what they think they are entitled to.
