Michigan Muslims talked to state lawmakers today about their concerns... And thanked them for what they've done in the past.
The chairman of the "Michigan Muslim community council" says Muslims sometimes feel like lawmakers forget about them. He added that many lawmakers and much of the public don't know that most of Michigan’s Muslims are not Arabs.
Most, he says, are African American or Asian.
