GLADSTONE, Mich. (AP) -- The lottery says a single winning ticket for the $140 million Mega Millions jackpot was sold at a convenience store in the community of Gladstone in Michigan's Upper Peninsula.
The lottery says the ticket for Friday night's drawing was sold at the Grain 'N' Grape store.
There was no immediate word on a winner. Grain 'N' Grape employee Sheila Wedell of Escanaba tells The Associated Press on Saturday morning that she checked her own ticket -- and she wasn't the winner.
Store owner Mary Dani says she's "so excited" and can't wait to find out who the winner might be.
The winning numbers in Friday evening's drawing of the multistate Mega Millions game were four, 19, 26, 28 and 39. The Mega Ball was 14.
