A Williamston man who used charitable donations for his living expenses is looking at some prison time.
A jury convicted Joseph Carr of putting donation jars in local business and then pocketing the money.
He faces a maximum of five years in prison when he's sentenced later this month.
Carr was busted last Decemberfor using "Missing Children" jars.
He left them in nearly 100 businesses around Lansing, East Lansing, Holt, Grand Ledge, Okemos, and Williamston.
Prosecutors believe he made as muchg as $10,000 before he was caught.
