ROYAL OAK, Mich. (AP) -- State police say prosecutors are considering whether to bring charges after a driver struck and killed a man who was walking in and out of traffic in Interstate 75 dressed only in socks and underwear.
Lt. Mike Shaw said in a statement Sunday that the Oakland County prosecutor's office is reviewing the results of an investigation of the crash that happened in Royal Oak.
Shaw says 20-year-old Kaine J. Black of Detroit died about 5 a.m. May 25 on I-75's northbound lanes. Shaw says a 30-year-old Troy man later surrendered at the police department in neighboring Troy.
In another hit-and-run crash, Shaw says a vehicle hit or cut off an SUV on I-94 in Roseville on Saturday evening, causing it to overturn and injuring seven people ages 17 to 29.
