Lansing Police arrested Daniel Clark on assault charges after they were dispatched to the area of Dakin and Gray Streets in Lansing. He faces seven weapons and assault charges for allegedly attacking his girlfriend and another man last night.

The 40-year-old man is also being charged as a habitual offender.

Police say he hit and attacked the woman with a knife outside their home near Dakin and Gray streets. Clark allegedly assaulted a neighbor who tried to help his girlfriend. Police say he also attacked an officer in the jail after he was arrested.

Today, charges were subsequently issued on the suspect and he was arraigned in 54-A District court in front of Magistrate Millmore.
