If Spartan fans weren't delighted about MSU's season already---- they'll have a free chance to taste a new ice cream flavor in honor of the football team.

MSU Dairy Store is handing out free samples that celebrate the team's bowl appearance.

The "Bowl Game" ice cream flavor will be unveiled today at 2:30 pm.

The concept for the flavor comes from a five-year-old Northern Michigan boy. He will be on hand to explain how he came up with the idea for the flavor.

The boy is the winner of an ice cream creating competition.
