"I came as a youth when I was 14 and it really gave me that nudge of 'I can go to college' I can actually do this. So it just exposes them to something that these kids have never, never been able to go on a college campus like this and see this kind of thing."
Roxanne Gleason/4-H Program Coordinator
MSU’s 4-H Exploration Days are officially underway.
The three day pre-college program invites kids ages 11 and up from all over the state to learn about future careers.
Through teamwork and leadership skills, there are more than 200 sessions taught by MSU faculty, 4-H volunteers and other experts; some of whom even went through the program themselves.
The 4-H Exploration Days events run through Friday.
New this year is a collaboration with Samsung, which has donated more than 2000 t-shirts, plus tablets and other technology.
