Local Young Democrats Training in Downtown Lansing

Young Democrats will gather in downtown Lansing on Saturday for the first annual "Get in the Game" Retreat.
The Michigan Democratic Party Youth Caucus says they are holding a day of action and training for young people to begin fighting back against an "assault on the middle class".
Their goal is to get young people politically involved in ways such as holding phone banks, petition drives, letter writing, and canvas campaigns across the state of Michigan.
The training is held at the Michigan State AFL-CIO building at Washington Square beginning at 11:00a.m., followed by a visit to the Lansing Lugnuts game afterward.

    So they are giving up on the rich and the poor and going after the republican strong hold of middle class taxpayers.
