Three feature films shot right here in michigan are getting some big-time premieres at the Sundance Film Festival.
The Michigan Film Office director says the three films: "Another Happy Day", "Cedar Rapids", and "Salvation Boulevard" ------ created about 480 jobs and put close to 17 million dollars into the state's economy.
In 2008, Michigan approved an economic incentive program to attract movie makers.
The current house leadership has said, in an effort to reduce the deficit, all tax incentives ----- including the film tax credit ------ will be reviewed, and some eliminated.

So, did anyone else make the assumption that Michigan is trying to entice Girls Gone Wild to film here? Perhaps Joe Francis wasn't the best choice for a file photo.

Really? Your stock photo from Sundance is of the guy who created 'Girls Gone Wild?' WILX, you lose more credibility everyday.

Joe Francis is the creator of the "Girls Gone Wild" videos. We are giving him a tax break?
