A Lansing veterinarian can no longer care for animals.
The state suspended Kathleen Williams' license to practice veterinary medicine last week.
She was convicted of animal abuse and neglect in January, when seven afghan hounds were found living in their own feces at the Benson Elmwood Animal Hospital in Delta Township last October.
The show-quality dogs were eventually nursed back to health and put up for adoptions.
