Local September 11th Rememberances

Other 9/11 Related Events:
- Spirit of America Blood Drive – The American Red Cross will be accepting blood donations at the Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn from 7am-3pm.
- Mason Cares - Volunteers will be cleaning the firehouse in Mason from 1-7pm, then Mason will have a remembrance ceremony at 7pm at the firehouse.
- 9/11 Heroes Run -  American Legion Post 238 of Holt, the Ingham County Sheriff's Office and the Delhi Township Firefighters will host a 5k Walk/Run, 100% of the proceeds benefit the Wounded Warrior Project, the Ingham County Sheriff's Office Honor Guard and the Great Lakes Burn Camp.  6:30pm at the Delhi Township Fire Department, 2074 Aurelius Rd Holt, MI 48842.

City of Lansing will hold a ceremony Wednesday morning to mark the anniversary of the September 11th, 2001 Terrorist Attacks.
The ceremony will take place at 8:30am in Wentworth Park in downtown Lansing at the corner of Grand Avenue and Michigan Avenue.
Local elected officials, police and fire department officers, EMS, International Union of Operating Engineers, the Glen Erin Pipe Band, will be taking part.
The ceremony will follow the time line of the attacks and sound the toll of a bell to signify when an event occurred.
The public is welcome and encouraged to assist in the "Lansing Remembers" ceremony.
