Local Firefighters to Get Prestigious Training

Some local firefighters have been selected to train at the national level.

EMS Training Chief Bill Priese, Captain Mark Vroman and Paramedic Tavis Millerov of the Meridian Township Fire Department will spend two weeks training at the National Fire Academy in Emmitsburg, Maryland.

The fire chief says it's a big honor, and is looking forward to how the prestigious training will help the community.
