Authorities say a Marion Township man who tried to stab his estranged wife's boyfriend to death has committed suicide.
State troopers say they responded to a home invasion call shortly after Midnight on Saturday.
They found that the 40-year-old man had stabbed the man several times in the neck, throat, and abdomen before turning a gun on himself.
The victim was listed in critical condition at University of Michigan hospital this morning.
Police say that two young children were at the residence at the time of the incident.
