A woman has been released from the hospital after being treated for a gunshot wound to her arm.
Lansing police received a call of shots fired around 12:25 a.m. on Sunday near the intersection of N. MLK Blvd. and Maple Street.
The officers located the victim, a 26-year-old female, at a local hospital where she was being treated for a non-life threatening gunshot wound to her arm.
Officers further located a host of evidence to support that the shooting occurred on the 1000 block of N. MLK Blvd. According to police, it appeared the home was enjoying a social gathering at the time of the shooting.
Shots were fired into the residence and at a parked vehicle.
Detectives are still investigating the matter.
