Hundreds of metro Detroit residents may have bought bogus tickets to Kid Rock's 40th birthday concert bash.
Roseville police say at least two reports of phony tickets have been confirmed and several others stemming from online sales made on Craigslist were being reviewed.
Kid Rock held his "Guess I'm Frickin' 40" concert at Ford Field in downtown Detroit on Saturday night. The event sold out in 19 minutes.
Christina DeCarolis of Oak Park tells The Detroit News that tickets she bought on Craigslist for $375 were the cheapest she could find but were confiscated at the gates.
Live Nation and Ford Field officials could not be immediately reached for comment.
Kid Rock, a Michigan native whose real name is Robert Ritchie, in November railed against profiteering ticket brokers.
